Sustainable policy

Our Commitment to Sustainable Hospitality

At Le Green des Impressionnistes, we believe that tomorrow’s travel is built with conscience. Our sustainable development policy is structured around 9 fundamental pillars, guiding our daily actions for a positive, measurable, and solidarity-based impact.

Energy and climate: towards sobriety

We optimize every kilowatt-hour to combine comfort and responsibility:

  • Green production: installation of photovoltaic panels for partial self-consumption.
  • Smart technology: heating and air conditioning via heat pumps coupled with a BMS (Building Management System), ensuring automatic shutdown after the guest’s departure and a daily reset of temperature settings.
  • Low-energy lighting: use of LEDs throughout 100% of the establishment.

Water management: preserving the resource

Every drop counts. We have deployed solutions to reduce our consumption without compromising your well-being:

  • Hydro-efficient equipment: aerators and reduced-flow shower systems, economic flush toilets.
  • Sustainable linen policy: replacement of sheets and towels on request to limit laundry cycles.
  • Zero plastic bottles: provision of filtered drinking water on-site in rooms and in the restaurant.

Zero plastic and waste reduction

We have banished single-use plastic from your hotel experience:

  • Farewell to disposables: removal of disposable toothbrushes, plastic cups, and cutlery.
  • Responsible cosmetics: guest products (shampoos, soaps) presented in high-capacity refillable containers.

Environment and biodiversity

The hotel is part of a living ecosystem that we actively protect:

  • Natural sanctuary: planting of 350 trees, including fruit varieties, to promote local biodiversity and offer a verdant setting for our guests.
  • Eco-grazing: maintenance of a one-hectare plot by our Ouessant sheep, an ecological and gentle alternative to mechanical mowing.
  • Zero Paper: removal of paper brochures and total digitalization of the customer journey (check-in/out, invoices).

Responsible Purchasing

We select our partners according to ethical and environmental criteria:

  • Local sourcing: priority to short supply chains for our products (local honey, local fruit juices).
  • Committed products: certified coffee, ban on palm oil, and majority use of Ecolabel cleaning products.
  • Eco-designed office: exclusive use of FSC/PEFC certified recycled paper for our residual administrative needs.

Soft Mobility

We encourage our travelers to explore the region differently:

  • Accueil Vélo Label: secure bike storage and repair equipment available.
  • Electric bikes: free provision of e-bikes for a carbon-free discovery of the territory.
  • Electromobility: charging stations available on-site for your electric vehicles.

Circular economy and recycling

Nothing is lost, everything is transformed to limit our footprint:

  • Full selective sorting: recycling facilities present in the kitchen, common areas, and directly in your rooms with dedicated awareness information.
  • Composting: systematic recovery of all our organic waste.
  • Second life: regular donation of our furniture (during ongoing renovations) to local associations.

Societal measures and solidarity

Humanity and mutual aid are the pillars of our identity:

  • Solikend Partnership: historical partner of the 1st solidarity booking site, we provide 20 to 50 nights each year for the benefit of the non-profit world. For these stays, the entirety of your payment is donated to the association of your choice (medical research, childhood, ecology, social solidarity, etc.).
  • Inclusion and parity: firm commitment to the respect of parity and inclusion (gender, age, origin) within our teams.

Monitoring and continuous improvement

Sustainable progress requires rigorous and transparent analysis:

  • Energy monitoring: precise and regular measurement of consumption (water and electricity) to identify potential savings.
  • Fighting waste: use of a forecasting tool for breakfast to minimize the loss of perishable products.
  • Internal culture: monthly team meetings to ensure compliance with best practices and the constant evolution of our commitments.
