The former Cistercian abbey “Notre-Dame-la-Royale” now houses a dynamic contemporary art centre that offers visits and various workshops for young and old ones, in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône.

The building was founded in the 13th century by the queen White of Castile. Today, Maubuisson Abbey exhibits contemporary works of art specifically designed for this place.

The abbey offers many workshops, for a single person or families, for young and old alike:

• family workshop: visit with your family and then, participate in a creative workshop before tasting;
• special “child” visit: in a calm atmosphere for the youngest, sensory for the children, followed by creative practice;
• guided tours;
• Cosmoball: football game revisited by the artist Melik Ohanian, around his sculpture.
