Visit the imposing castle that dominates the old medieval town, walk along the rue de Vienne, between its half-timbered houses, visit the Saint-Gervais Saint-Protais church and, in summer, browse at fairs.
The Gisors castle was classified as a Historical Monument in 1862. With a military vocation, it has been built gradually since the 11th century. The visit of the castle is free but opt for a guided tour to access the keep and cellars, and above all, to know the legends of the castle, especially that of the Templar treasure!
The immense Saint-Gervais Saint-Protais church was built from the 13th century onwards to be embellished during the next three centuries. It thus combines different architectural styles. Admire its imposing facades, stained glass windows, beautiful objects and sculptures.
