Ecouen castle houses the National Renaissance Museum. An impressive example of Renaissance architecture, it features many works of art.
Ecouen museum, the only museum in France entirely dedicated to this artistic movement, exhibits many eclectic works of art from the Renaissance: paintings, tapestries and sculptures but also stained glass, ceramics, furniture, weapons, silverware….
Before returning to the Green, take a walk through the church of Saint-Acceul. This other architectural jewel of the Renaissance has been classified as a Historic Monument.
