Cruises on the Oise
  • Bords de riviere

From May to October, embark on a cruise along the Oise River. Let yourself be gently led to the discovery of the landscapes painted by the Impressionists or the history of inland navigation techniques.

The Cergy-Pontoise Tourist Office offers two cruises from its premises, below the ramparts of Pontoise:

  • The “impressionist” cruise goes up the Oise towards Auvers-sur-Oise. You can quietly admire the landscapes painted by many 19th century artists, such as Daubigny, Cézanne, Gaughin, Van Gogh, Pissarro and Piette.  Walk along the Hermitage district, the Sente du Chou, Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, Valhermeil, Chaponval and Auvers-sur-Oise.
  • The “lock” cruise goes down to Eragny via Port-Cergy, through a lock and the ecological corridor that crosses the conurbation. You will discover the world of river transport and learn more about the fauna and flora of this beautiful river.
